Old Rossin Catalogue Goodness
Couple of interesting Rossin catalogue scans from 1989, provided by Tunturi, the company importing Rossin bikes into Finland back in the day.
The cyclocross model, translated as "OFF-ROAD BIKE" by the way, is something I've never seen before but since it was in the catalogue, it must exist. The hunt is on!
Thanks for Fedja for the scans. See the whole thing here with some road bikes as well.

Rossin Pista
My 'best bike' and summertime daily ride, Rossin Record Pista in its different guises since I got it in 2008. Evolution or compulsive upgrading of parts for no reason at all? Not sure, probably both.
What's more interesting is that initially I thought it might be bit too big for me but I've since swapped the stem for 2cm longer one and set the saddle a notch further back. Also, during the time I've had the Rossin, I've bought and sold bunch of track frames because they all turned out to be way too small for me. Live and learn.

Rossin Track Fork
I recently posted about a NOS Rossin Pista frame which was dug up from the Velosport shop's legendary warehouse, now couple of weeks later the shop owner discovered also the original fork which he gave to the guy who bought the frame. Free of charge. Simply awesome.

Blue Rossin Pista
This 1980s NOS Rossin Record Pista frame spent years and years hanging on the ceiling at the back of the Velosport bike shop in Käpylä, Helsinki, yet it still shines like the day it came out of the workshop. Finally it has an owner and a new home. Congratulations!

Track Goodies @48x17 Cycles
Many things in Greece might be pretty f**ked up right now but the 48x17 Cycles shop has some über-rare and super hot goodies available at the moment:
A NOS Rossin Pista frameset in size 55cm and two used Look Piste aluminum framesets, sizes 55 and 57 available.
I don't know whether they're willing to ship abroad but asking costs nothing, right?

"Super ODD & RARE" Rossin Pista
Looks more like "Super AWFUL & UGLY", but maybe that's just me. Rare it must be, that's for sure.
It's on Ebay at the moment, so bid here if you wanna...

Rossin Pista 1989
These are very nice. Finnish catalogue scans of the Rossin track bikes from 1989 with original prices in Finnish markka and all. For example the 6350 FIM would be about 1070€ today. I guess the catalogue was made by Tunturi brand who imported Rossin to Finland at the time.
The fact that I very recently scored a lovely track frameset equiped with some original Gipiemme Pista Special parts on it much like the one above makes this an even sweeter find.
The TT bike conversion(?) below is bit funky looking, though. The grey track bike below made with more obscure and apparently slightly heavier Falck tubing appears to be the budget version as the complete bike was priced about two thirds of price of the Columbus SL version. The parts are not exactly the same either.

Corima X Mack Collabo
Corima X Mack collabo AKA Arrodynamic Crabon Hipster Wheel. One of a kind too, 'cos it's handbuilt by yours truly. Mack hub on Corima Aero 24h full carbon clincher rim with DT Swiss Revolution spokes. Took me ages to finish this but I'm quite happy how it turned out. Thanks to Konkeli for the rim and inspiration for the project.
And in case someone else is building with the same rim I used 574 ERD to calculate the spoke length, which is not what Corima officially tells you to use but you need to calculate some extra for the upside down nipples.

Vyacheslav Yekimov's Rossin Pursuit Pista 1988
This is Rossin is special, and it's on Ebay right now!
"The frame was build by Mario Rossin in 1988 for Vyacheslav Yekimov as member of the Russian Olympic Track Cycling Team and sold by him in 1988 to a member of the RV Zurich."

Another One Down
This was a sad day. Mikko's Rossin Pista was not made for bike polo, obviously. On the other hand the bike has been ridden hard for a long time so this was not exactly a suprise, I guess. Also, I'd say it's still probably somehow fixable but who knows.
