Hip hop and bikes don't really go together that much. KRS-1 boasted in mid-1980s that he used to ride 'a freestyle fix' and Kanye got his track bikes but that's about it. Well, now Pharrell is in on it too if you listen to the new Common track he is on. At around 2:10 in the song Pharrel claims to "be pedalling backwards like a Track Bike". So maybe he means skidding?

FYI..Pharrell is a CO-Owner of Brooklyn Machine Works
so he gets his bikes from there
also you can see him with gorilla's crew on their site.
