*** Pajafest 30.4.-1.5.2011 ***
Second Pajafest at the Satama Social Center for real bike punx and other DIY-folks. Go there and show suppport when you still can because it seems quite likely that the social center will be evicted in June, the building will be demolished soon after to make way for the development of the Kalasatama area.

Gregory Baugé, the new UCI Track World Champion of Mens Sprints.
Remember also that he's the guy who skids on the track, when needed...

Way Back In '94: DOUBLE RUSH !!!
Thanks to Paulus for the heads-up on this. Looks kinda funky in the 1990s way but hey, in the titles part there's someone riding a track bike with Mavic Pursuit bars on it.

Origin8 Fail
Apparently tnts has true legz of steel, so much so that his Origin8 cranks couldn't handle the mad watts he was mashing on to them. KRNKY straps held strong, of course.

FOR SALE: Rata JOPO
Olli is selling his unique Rata Jopo, here.
Truly one of a kind custom tarck bike. Don't sleep on this, collectors.
Nelson Pista
I can dig this.
If you're not familiar with the Nelson track frame, check it out here. Lot of people seem to be happy with theirs and why not? Very reasonably priced, light enough, proper classic track geometry with non-sloping top tube and carbon fork. This might well be one best deals in its own category out there currently, especially considering all the crap Ebay is flooded with nowadays.

GoExpo 2011
Tnts visited to the GoExpo 2011 - bicycle fair at the Helsinki convention centre today as a guest of the Pelago boys, and and to stealthily promote KRNKY I guess. Anyway, I didn't go there because I had better things to do but I'm posting some his photos to show you the best - and the worst - fixed/single speed bikes of the event. But I will leave it up to you all to decide which is which...
Thanks to Toni for the photos.

Evan McGregor
This is probably already an oldie, but still a goldie, every time. Makes me just a little bit worried that the stem will pull out if he tries to pop a wheelie or something.

Incredible.
Heavy machinery at the top secret H+Son Production Facility. I loved the guy having a Aphex Twin t-shirt there too.

Wolfpack Hustle. The All City Team Race 3
Wolfpack Hustle. The All City Team Race 3 from Midnight Ridazz on Vimeo.
"5 member teams, min. 1 fixed gear per team, first complete team across the line wins. Any route from the east to the beach. 180 people raced across LA to win LA's most coveted prize Wolfpack Hustle dog tags. Crashes, mechanicals, riding on the freeway, getting lost, the cops, blood sweat and gears....

This looks like tons of fun. The only thing is I really hate Bruce Springsteen...

Rossin Ghibli Pursuit - Finally Complete
Olli Erkkilä's greatest project so far is finally ready. I've reported its phases many times along the way and if you remember, even signor Mario Rossin himself sent a message of approval after having been shown some photos of the project. Congratulations!
But always, there's already something new brewing in Olli's workshop...

Project 1 - 2011
Olli's been working hard on something new lately. Remember these? As pointed out earlier, the lugs did look very familiar and much as if they were copied from certain Soviet Union pursuit frames.
