New Panasonic Keirin Frame

Just posting the pic to congratulate a fellow Keirin-bike enthusiast here in Helsinki on his brand new Panasonic frame set, directly from Japan. Sweet! 

Council Of Doom

I was just womdering whatever happened to Council of Doom film but now is seems to be finally out, or at least it's being premiered somewhere. 

And now that the I watch the trailer again after a long time, it looks pretty nice again. 

New Sugino Cog Design

All right, pics of Sugino's new prototype cog design have leaked on the interwebz so I also need to post them here. It seems that they are going the Miche-way with some kind of a carrier design. 

I need to add that most people who have tried what appears to be quite the similar Miche-system, often haven't been so happy about it, especially if you ride on the streets and tend to skid a lot and whatnot.

The Sugino new came from here: 

"Not sure if these are out yet, Sugino rep told me it was a prototype coming out later this year. You get 3 cogs, 16/17/18 with the set, and there is no need for a chain whip, just a shimano road bb tool, which does the lockring too. To change cogs, you just take the lockring off, and the tooth section of the cog comes off laterally."

The tattoo pictured below, on the other hand, can probably be pretty useful when you're repacking those loose-ball bearing hubs.

Helsinki Fixed Gear Tricks & Beers again.

Some pics from last night's Yksivaihde.net Fixed Gear Tricks & Beers AKA fiksikeskarit. Rainy weather and the early dark drove us in to a super-secret parking garage spot, which was good for practicing those looooong skids. New spokecards were dealt out too.

St*rfuckers Trick Bike From Tokyo

That's apparently a prototype of a new ST*RFUCKERS trick (yeah, not track) bike from Tokyo and it should be out soon. Very interesting.
