The American Fixed Gear(tm) tour is getting more interesting than following last TdF, actually. I, among many other people I guess, am wishing these guys the best of luck once they will actually hit the mountains, riding -brakeless and all that.

Helsinki Tour de Tourist Pics
Here's some photograhic evidence from last Saturday's Helsinki Tour de Tourist ride. I've been waiting for bit more photos to resurface but here we go.
The weather was truly shitty so only the most hardcore velo-tourists showed up. Nevertheless, the ride was fun, then there was beer, barbeque and polo afterwards. What more can you ask?

Helsinki Tour de Tourist - Saturday 7th Feb 2009
Eki & Toni from Yksivaihde.net got all impressed and inspired with the London Tweed Run.
So, as a consequence there will be Helsinki Tour de Tourist group ride on Saturday 7th of February.
The theme is obviously Cyclotourism and the ride will stop at some of the most important sights (like the Käpylä Velodrome) of our lovely city and in the end there will be refreshments and maybe even a barbeque afterwards. Everybody be there!
