Uuuh, that's a pretty ugly bike, right? 

A horror hipster fixie conversion from the Fixed Gear Gallery or Velospace or somewhere. Bikesnob NYC would write something witty, yet quite nasty, about the fake arrospok stolen from some granny's wheelchair, those hipster cysts, the funky Paisley seat cover and all that. 

But what if I told you that the bike is actually on 20" wheels and converted from Italian children's mini-road bike? And that it was built for a five year old? You'd look again? 

You Want High Speed Chase?

This is pretty funny, thanks for tnts for finding it. You need to watch it and wait until about the half way in until, well, I won't say more. 

Somehow there are some visual cues reminding me of that other famous chase... 

Traitor Cycles Ringleader Has Landed

What's in the box, you might wonder? Why, it is the officially first ever Traitor Cycles Ringleader in Finland. 

The bike arrived today in Air Freigh from the U.S. of A and the bike's new owner mr. tnts, a founding member of our very own FG/SS webforum www.yksivaihde.net, already built it up, with some help from Johannes at the Kumiluoti shop. And apparently he drank some Olvi beer while he doing it. 

I'll report more about the bike once I get to see in real life and test ride it myself, and hey, I might even interview the new owner of bike to lift my blog to whole new level of journalistic professionalism. While you're waiting for that, check out more pics of the bike here.

Here's a random bunch of different big bike brand's new 2009 track / fixed gear / single speed bike models in no particular order for your enjoyment. Or for your horror. I've nothing to say about these. Except that none of these companies are getting any of my hard-earned money.
