Something like this can sometimes apparently happen if during the framebuilding process a heavily butted steel tube is heated too much while brazing. I wasn't too happy about this happening to my daily ride but the frame is still within the warranty period in any case.

This is, or was, my Traitor Crusade. Super nice frame, so I'm looking forward to get it replaced under warranty.
