Here's a cool video from yesterday's Winter Games, shot & edited by Eki. I simply cannot resists my narcissistic urge to point out that yours truly can be seen 'drifting' in there too. Check out also Santtu dry-practicing his survival skills in case he might fall through the ice... 

Winter Games 2009

The Bikepoli organized Winter Games 2009 in Otaniemi, Espoo, or actually on the Laajalahti bay, today. 

The smooth mirror-like ice was SUPER-slippery and there was wide variety of races to choose from, from 'Burning Rubber' to footdown, ice-skids, drifting, the Granx Prix and so on. The guys with MTBs were somewhat better equipped for the event but it was all good fun. Also, no one fell through the ice and the weather wasn't too cold either. Big thanks to Astro for main organizing duties.
