Vivalo Cyclocross Special

Just came across photos of this sweet custom fixed / single speed cyclocross frame by Kusaka-san and his newly re-launched Vivalo-brand. There was that Kinfolk "Urban Bike" built also by Kusaka already but the fact that more and more of these keep popping up everywhere indicates that dedicated steel sscx frames are becoming the thing to be riding. And why not?

Rossin Ghibli Reborn

Tuukka's trusty old Rossin Ghibli road frame finally died sometime ago when the seat tube broke for the second time. The frame was handed over to ChopperOlli, some time passed and this is what it looks like now, in the last pic below. Looking forward to seeing how it ends up finally.

Riding In Circle Online Store

Riding In Circle has a new online store open. 

In case you don't already know, Riding In Circle is a new small brand & company producing custom handmade steel track frames in Vicenza, Italy. Simple as that. 

Ever since the pic below (here's more, click) of their three frame models they made for Cyclope Paris, I've been secretly lusting for their trick frame, wishing no one else would notice them and then they would me mine, all MINE!!! 

Anyhow, there's something about these I really like but I cannot really put my finger on what it is. And this is saying something because in fact I generally don't really feel the Gorillas, EAI Barenuckles or almost any other current production modern dedicated steel street fixed / track frames out there. I just wish the RIC guys would put up their prices on the website.

Kinfolk Bicycles

It is a real honor that he would choose us to represent his 4 decades of crafting these awesome bicycles. Our goal was simply to produce the bike we would be excited to ride, and I think we knocked it out of the park. We hop you think so too. In addition to Kusaka's beautiful steel, we also offer paint by America's finest bicycle painters, Coat of Portland, Oregon,and ColorFactory, based on the beautiful Jersey Shore. The design is what you would expect from Ways&Means, and to top it all off, we have a classy headbadge designed by our main man, Marco Hernandez, of Lit Fuse tattoo in Beautiful Olympia, WA. Gorilla Trick Frame

John Prolly already posted about this as he is always on top of this stuff but here we go:

A trick track prototype frame from Gorilla Bicycles in Switzerland and what's more interesting, it's apparently hand-built in Italy by CIÖCC? If you forget about the super fugly unicrown fork it looks pretty interesting. I wonder if they will actually start selling these at some point.

Bike DIY Corner: Rebirth of 'Crescent Pista'

What happens when you find a dead and abandoned bike frame in the woods and give it to someone who knows how to braze and weld, and is not afraid to experiment a little bit? This happens. RokPete's Crescent road frame is reborn as a 'Crescent Pista' in the skilled hands of ChopperOlli. 

Now we are waiting for the full build pics to emerge. 

St*rfuckers Tokyo Custom Frame

Rene has got some new goodies in again in NJS Supermarket. Some Nitto bars, Kashimax seats, white Vittoria Randonneurs (yay!) and then a Starfuckers custom frame.

Personally I hate the way the frame looks but I'm sure someone else will appreciate it more. Interesting design anyhow. And it is painted with rainbow 'rame' too. But there's something evil about it...
