Whoa, slippery!

This is apparently taken from a Dutch documentary on the subject of those trendy breakless fixie skidder bieks and there's a whole story behind this but I'll let somebody else who knows more tell you more...?

EDIT.
Here's the link mentioned in the comments to the post:

  4. I no I'm a hypocrite for saying this, since I ride "brakeless", but good thing the driver of the car behind him wasn't rolling brakeless.

  5. Why are people still hating on those guys? They made a mistake, ok so be it.. Get it over with, people make mistakes! And why is it such a big deal that somebody is teaching others how to ride fixed gear.. I don't get it

  6. oh well, I wasn't really hating on those dudes, just posting the animation because it's fairly hilarious with all the cliches in there.

every single one of us here have probably had our own share of stupid spills on our bikes, right? I myself have.

and you can't so to say blame King Keng for NOT trying with his School for Riding a Brakeless Fixie Bike. I think the joke is on the people who are actually willing to shell out 25€ for his lessons.

  7. I'm not sure why all the negativity about this Pristine shop in Amsterdam. Was visiting the Netherlands a while back, did visit their shop.

Proper guys, very kind and very helpful. Nice collection of vintage track bikes and selection of frames and components. Well recommended when visiting the Netherlands.

  8. Thanks for the publicity!

And fakengers? We've been probably riding longer then you but hey we don't give a shit if you aren't man enough to post with your name in stead of Anonymous.
Says more about you then us.

We got loads of positive publicity the last year, where is your comment about that? Anyway, just my cup of tea.

And also read what Sur Place is all about. Keng is working for a great exhibition about the fixed gear community. For the money you get a crash course riding fixed and an afternoon riding on the indoor track and enjoyment of the exhibition itself.

So anonymous, eat shit before you post crap you don't know shit about.

  9. Honestly I don't see what all the fuss is about, I've been coming to their shop since they've opened and they're all sincere and nice kids doing this out of passion and fun, so comments like 'a bunch of rich kids with nothing better to do' are just misplaced and dumb. nothing but respect for these dudes. glad that something is finally happening in amsterdam.
