J just stole these Lomo-tastic pics of the Käpylä Velodrome this morning from Mr. Konkeli. Somehow these photos look very Eastern Block/Soviet-like to me.
Anyhow, Paavo the Messenger looks and is fast as f**k on his Barenuckle. And yeah, as you can see, the condition of the track surface is not the best anymore, unfortunately.
I have to point out that the middle pic is after the velodrome was washed for the first time after this hell-of-a-winter.
